Her BP is still a little on the high side, so they are continuing to watch that, her urine output is still low, but they are going to try in the next day or so to stop the dialysis and see if the kidneys take over, if they don't, she'll have to go in to surgery to get a more permanent catheter. Between dialysis and urine output, she's putting out more fluid than she's taking in, but somehow she keeps gaining weight, the doctor told us today said that while on a scale she is getting bigger, clinically she's losing and that the scales aren't that accurate, that kind of rubbed us the wrong way, if she gained 40 grams today, 30 yesterday, and 90 the day before, I don't think the scales can be that inaccurate.
There is a lot going on, Rachael and I are really hoping that the kidneys pull through when dialysis stops, if not, then we have to start looking at the long term treatment options which could be as simple as medication, or as difficult as transplant. So many things to balance, another day of waiting and praying. Thank you again to all of you who have been praying and helping us out in every different way, we cannot tell you how grateful we are to have all of this support.
