WOW!
There are a few updates...
Madeline had surgery to have her Adenoids and Tonsils REMOVED- since then she is sleeping MUCH better and she has started taking an interest in EATING! Hooray!~not a ton of food but bites here and there -she likes graham crackers and veggie straws!
She just had a nephrology appointment today and her labs look GOOD -so we still wait for kidney transplant another day...
Fainting spells are her new favorite pastime she gets really mad or sad and cries and passes out- it was really scaring her babysitter! The Doctor's have assured us that a lot of kids do this and although it is very scary for her to pass out on us there is not much we can do about it other than wait for her to grow out of it,, ,
She is starting to say sentences like "there she is" and "uh oh where'd it go" "go outside?" -She has also started to sing her favorite songs, "A,B, C's - itsy bitsy spider and of course wheels on the bus"
- now that its warm out we are taking her to the park and she loves the swings!!!
We have started her with a new speech therapist and it seems to be going well...
We are starting to plan her birthday again since last year plans were a bit foiled! hopeful that this year will go off without a hitch!
So not too much to complain about and a lot to be thankful for !

As last minute as it is we have just signed up for a local Kidney Walk to raise money for the National Kidney Foundation -Maddie's Nephrology Doctor Will be walking with us.. The walk is THIS Sunday! We are hoping to raise $300 - Would you consider donating?
