Dear Jesus, please stay with our daughter, don't let her be alone inside her box. Bring her peace, calm her heart, take away her pain. It is hard for us to see her in pain and not be able to help her. Thank you Lord.

Day of Life #10
Still sliding downhill, nephrologist is not happy with the test results he is seeing. Doctors are doing the best they can at coming up with a multi-disciplinary approach to helping Madeline. They are trying hard to balance her electrolytes, sugars, and everything else. She appears less puffy, but she has gained a lot of weight, well above her birth weight despite not getting any nutrition.

So very hard not to cradle your child in your arms, yet somehow she must feel Mom and Dad's love, ever present, through this difficult journey. Continue to carry you Rachael, your little daughter and your husband. You are not alone.
