Another late update today, sorry all. Madeline is roughly the same, Neurology did not have anything negative to say, but we will continue to follow up with them down the road in case anything develops. That is a relief. Unfortunately Maddie's Creatine levels have gone up even more today, but once again, they say they are hoping it will go back down soon as her urine output is at a good level. Her blood pressure is still really high, they have her on two BP medications and it still continues to go above 120 and 130, they are monitoring that very closely as well.
Madeline was really crabby this morning and didn't want to take her bottle, she was fussy again at noon when Rachael tried to give it to her, not an easy task getting her to take the bottle, hopefully things will work out in that aspect too.
We wanted to take another moment and thank everyone that has continued to help during this process, from the donations, to the delicious home cooked meals, taking care of our home, and just being there for us and praying, we are so grateful. It is very comforting. I uploaded a picture Rachael took today of Maddie in the dress I bought for her on Etsy, while it was probably more than I should have spent, it is more than adorable on her! Thanks all, thanks God!
PS - Update for Adalee- They successfully installed a pic line two days ago so that is good news. Her parents, Ian and Renae ask that we pray for her Brains, Lung, and Bowels- that her bowels and lungs would function well and that her brain would tell her body parts what to do! They also extubated her and from what I hear that went well. What an amazing little girl! Keep the prayers up for her. .Also for Everett too! I am positive Sadie is home now too because it has been many days since we have seen her- Awesome!
She looks adorable in her pretty dress! Still praying!
ReplyDeleteWell Ron, we agree Madeline was well worth the cost of the dress (just think one of those days you will be chipping for her Prom dress...and wait until she asks for her own CC and the keys to your car!)
ReplyDeleteThree Cheers for Madeline!
Thank you for letting us know also of her little roomates...Prayers will continue until EVERYONE is HOME!!! Please Lord!
