Day of life #54

As you can see Madeline has had a busy day! First her car seat test (she passed with flying colors!), then visits from her Godparents! You would think she would be sleepy but she is squirming around in the crib next to me!!

Things are on a roll and we are talking discharge daily, we are aiming for early next week still which is great- We worked on getting a schedule together for her meds (she has about 5 different ones to take), and discussed doing a night in the transition room! We are very pleased -Praise be to God.

Looking forward to that first day home- Pretty sure we will want a day or two to be completely alone with Maddie and just enjoy time alone with her for once without doctors, nurses, hospitals, etc. but after that I am sure we will be up for visitors!

Everett- Is having a better day, his lungs are looking better and he is not on CPAP at the moment. The Doctor's said they would like to watch him throughout the night and see how he does without the CPAP. So pray he can stay off of that! Also pray for his continued recovery- The doctor's have big plans for Everett, switching him to oral meds, and a bunch of other things that we will ask mom and dad to remind us of so that we can share the prayer requests with you all! The search for a new home is underway and the donation page is set up. Thank you to everyone who has been donating and helping the family out- Your kindness is such a help to the family!

We will get an update soon from Adalee's family and see how she is doing!
