Sorry for not updating yesterday but we were busy going home!!!
As you can see from the pics Maddie was totally ready to come home :) ---
We are so relieved and happy to be here! We will try to keep updating the blog here and there to let you all know how she is doing!
Her first night was much like the transition room- she didn't want to sleep! :) We are working on figuring everything out like she's a newborn again- We are tired but excited that we are finally at this point. She already had a follow up with her PCP today and he said she is looking good- She will see the nephrologist tomorrow -and will probably see him on a regular basis- Over the next few months she has appts with the gastroenterologist, neurologist, physical/occupational therapist, nephrologist, neonatologist, a nurse will be coming two times a week to take her blood pressures and monitor them and we will have to take her to get weekly renal panels. We are working on getting an organized system in place for her meds- There's a lot to keep track of but we feel confident God will help us figure everything out!
Everett Update: I think we mentioned he was reintubated - although it is never good to be reintubated- mom says he is breathing much more comfortably at this time. The plan is to wean him off of the vent over the next few days. Pray for strength fore his lungs that he would not have to struggle! Pray God heals him completely- and soon! Great news that mom and dad found a house they can afford that will work for their family! Please assist in the cost of their move by donating to them at www.beckerfamilydonations.blogspot.com
