Good Afternoon! Pics from yesterday and today!
Madeline went to the nephrologist on friday. He told us that if she does not improve any in her renal functioning from where she is at now she will probably have to go on dialysis/ have a transplant within the next year. If she does improve, depending on how much she improves it could be a few years. He ordered a renal panel and she will be getting them every week to two weeks depending on how the numbers are reading. The one she had on Friday shows that her numbers have not changed since she had a panel done last. The nephrologist would still like her to get a blood pressure machine at home so she can be monitored more often. We had a lot of questions for the nephrologist and he was very helpful in giving us an idea of what to look forward to. We think we have figured out a good system for meds, and we are working on binders with all of her info/instructions for care for anyone who may be watching her and for us! :)
We will be looking further into daycare options this week and hopefully it will be worked out soon!
Maddie had her debut at church today! She also met some neighbors yesterday! We are continually reminded by the love that surrounds her and our family. So many of you have shed tears for our family and said prayers and we are forever grateful-we know that they made a difference! So happy to feel like things are sort of going back to normal.. it's been so strange for so long- we are relieved to get back into the swing of things!
Haven't talked to Adalee's parents in a few days but last we checked Adalee was doing well and also working on a schedule at home! We will let u know when we hear more!
Everett- The dr's still have not extubated him, and he is having a bit of a rough day-looks like it will be later next week for extubation- mom asks that we pray for his lungs to heal and the doctors to make good decisions about his care.
She also asked for us all to pray for a baby Greyson who is very ill with a very serious disease- We do not know the name of it right now but he is about the size of a 27 wk old baby - it is a serious condition- Greyson's mom is struggling and also lacks support from those around her. thank you for praying for them!
Take care all! Until next time.....!
God Bless!
Thank you for sharing the photos! Looking good Madeline!
